How much does it cost to use the PrintPOD network?
GPS
Pricing may vary by market for each PrintPOD Kiosk. Please see the kiosk for specific pricing. Also, some PrintPOD locations offer complimentary printing for airline boarding passes, train schedules and maps & directions. Pricing is displayed on each kiosk before you print your documents.

  Are there any membership fees?
GPS
There are no membership fees to join the PrintPOD network. You simply pay per page you print, with no hidden fees or extra charges of any kind.

Can I use PrintPOD with my Apple/Mac computer?
GPS
Although the PrintPOD Print Driver is not currently compatible with Mac computers, there are still ways to print from an Apple/MAC.  To print documents from your Mac, simply transfer them to a USB memory stick or memory card and use the PrintPOD Loading Dock located on the front of each kiosk. You can also use your personal PrintPOD email address to e-mail documents from your Mac or PC straight into your print queue.

I used my memory stick to print at a PrintPOD kiosk and the output was not exact. What can I do?
GPS
When printing with a memory stick, the document is converted to a printable format using rendering software. This means of printing, while convenient, may not provide the highest quality output. For the highest quality output, please use the PrintPOD print driver.
GPS

The quality of the document I printed was unacceptable. How can I receive credit to my account?
GPS
Please notify PrintPOD customer service through our CONTACT US page and we’ll be glad to help you.

I received an error message of “Can’t find server or server unavailable” while I was uploading. What can I do?
GPS
Typically this means that you are not connected to the Internet. If you are connected to the Internet and still receive this message, it could mean that the PrintPOD network is briefly down for maintenance. The upload process will continue to upload the documents until the servers are available.
GPS

How long will documents stay in my account?
GPS
Documents are removed after 7 days.
GPS

Is there a limit to the size of a document I can upload?
GPS
Yes. The maximum file size is 20MB.
GPS

Can I connect to the PrintPOD network using a dial-up Internet connection?
GPS
Although this is possible, using dial-up is not recommended. Even small documents can take several minutes or more depending on your dial-up connection speed.
GPS

How secure are my documents when I use the PrintPOD network?
GPS
Our network is an extremely secure method of printing. We use very strong encryption technology to transport your documents to our on-line print servers, which are secured through firewalls.
GPS

If my document contains both color and b&w pages, how will I be billed?
GPS
PrintPOD job processing does not separate color and b&w pages within the same document. If you choose to print using our color option, all pages will be billed as color printouts, even if some pages are b&w within that document.
GPS

How do I print multiple copies?
GPS
You can choose to print multiple copies in the print options screen of the kiosk. You will automatically be taken to this screen during the printing process.
GPS

The Printpod Kiosk will not read my USB storage device:
GPS
Your USB storage media has a program that "autoruns/autoplays" for operation, encryption and or password protection. This feature is not available on the PrintPod Kiosk. Your USB storage media will need to have these features disabled for use on the PrintPod Kiosk.
