Joe Mislinski, CEO
Joe is a 20+ year veteran of the document technology marketplace. Joe's roles include leadership positions in startup software companies to C-level executive positions at large print service providers. As CIO of Vestcom's Marketing and Business Communications Division, Joe pioneered the use of variable digital color one-to-one marketing technology in the gaming and financial services industries. Mislinski was COO of St. Ives Financial, where he consolidated operations and drove technology sales. While SVP Sales and Marketing at major service providers, Joe's leadership has helped land game-changing accounts in vertical markets such as health care and with "transpromo" applications. Joe has also served the industry in a consulting capacity, assisting large corporations with their enterprise messaging and print strategies. Joe is a former officer in the U.S. Army, having served in command positions in the United States, West Germany and South Korea, and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in Engineering.
Vin McCaffrey, Vice President Business Development
Vin McCaffrey is an accomplished print industry executive with prior experience at Lexmark International and Ricoh Americas Corporation. Prior to his work with Global Print Systems, McCaffrey managed strategy and business development at Ricoh Americas Corporation. Initially recruited to Ricoh to focus on keyaccount sales within thier Printer Solutions Division, McCaffrey took on broader responsibilities relative to channel strategy and industry alliances and partnerships. Prior to Ricoh, Vin spent two years at the New York City Advisory and Business Development firm, Marwood Group where he served as thier SVP of Healthcare Business Development. McCaffrey started his career at Lexmark International, for which he worked in both Lexmark's end user sales division, as well as their professional services organization. McCaffrey received his BA in International Relations from Lehigh University and his MBA from Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.
Jonathan Dewees, Founder
Jonathan Dewees, a veteran of the printing industry, developed the original GPS concept. Prior to forming GPS he was the owner/operator of Dewees Business Systems (DBS). DBS provided IT consulting services across industries. A third-generation business, DBS experienced rapid growth in recent years, doubling in size since 1983. DBS provided printer integration, deployment and logistical support to Fortune enterprises ( e.g., Pep Boys, Lockheed Martin, Spencer Gifts, Verizon, etc.). DBS also serviced the small-business climate by providing customized hardware solutions. DBS was a leader in its field and was recognized as such by industry peers for excellence in both sales and service. Jonathan successfully merged DBS with Agson in July 2005. Jonathan has served as a consultant to printing industry OEMs, advising on new-product development.
Bruce G. Bard, Founder
Bruce Bard brings to GPS more than 25 years in the industry with experience in management of start-up and fast-growth software and systems companies. Prior to forming GPS, Bruce founded Software Consulting Group, Inc. (SCG) He built the company into a sought after systems integration and IT consulting enterprise with an emphasis in document and content management systems. SCG specialized in mission critical Enterprise Asset Management applications, including real-time radiological control systems, in a 24x7 commercial Nuclear Power Plant environment. As the President and Chief Executive Officer of the company since its inception in 1988, he orchestrated the organic growth of the enterprise from three to 120 employees, realizing approximately $18 million in revenues in 2000. Bruce, in conjunction with representation from Pepper Hamilton, LLP and Pennsylvania Merchant Group Investment Banking, successfully completed the sale of the company to Soluziona, a multi-national Madrid-based firm, at a multiple of 10x EBITDA. Prior to forming SCG he was with Coopers and Lybrand as an IT consultant. Presently, Bruce owns the Intelligent Office Suites of Marlton, New Jersey and has been searching for a convenient and reliable service to fill his "on-the-go" clients' printing needs.
Robert Cicalese, Chief Technology Officer
Robert Cicalese comes to GPS from Liquent, Inc. where he served as Vice President, Research & Development. Liquent provides document management software to the pharmaceutical industry allowing for delivery of regulatory reports and FDA submissions. Prior to Liquent, he was Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for SCG. Robert managed all aspects of the consulting-services delivery process generating approximately $16 million in annual revenues. He is a noted expert in the development and implementation of mission critical applications. Robert received a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Computer Science from Drexel University. Additionally, he holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of PA, and a member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Project Management Institute and the Association for Information and Image Management.
Robert Borzillo, VP Sales & Marketing
Bob Borzillo is a senior level Business Development professional with 25 years experience selling enterprise software and building and managing an IT consulting company from startup through successful exit while at SCG. He has demonstrated success delivering strategic information technology projects for Fortune 500 companies such as Mobil Oil and PECO Energy. Specifically, Bob specialized in selling mission critical Enterprise Asset Management solutions and services to the Nuclear Power industry. Bob's track record underlines his ability to develop long-term, client relationships. As well, he possesses strong business and IT knowledge. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
Tom Olenzak, Chief Financial Officer (Interim)
Tom Olenzak has nearly twenty years of investment banking, venture capital, financial, and senior management experience in the information technology, health care, life sciences, and environmental industries. Tom is currently serving as an interim CFO for GlobalPrint Systems and is a Managing Director with Drexel Partners LLC, a business and financial advisory firm. Previously, he had formed and managed a corporate health care venture capital fund for First Consulting Group (FCG), and was a Vice President for Corporate Development and Strategic Planning for FCG and for Integrated Systems Consulting Group, a public predecessor to FCG that focused on technology for the pharmaceutical industry. Tom was also President, Chairman, and a founder of Cutting Edge Computer Solutions, Inc., a client/server consulting firm. He has a BA in economics from Princeton University.
R. Travis Coley - Business Advisor
Travis Coley is the Director of Business Development at GormanThayer LLC, a boutique investment bank in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is the Principal of COLEY LLC, a marketing strategy consultancy aimed at speeding markets penetration and marrying capital with investment opportunities. COLEY’s client portfolio includes startups and existing enterprises seeking growth, markets penetration and funding strategies as well as investors in need of markets validation. At GPS, Travis is charged with strategy development and markets validation. He started his professional career in the financial-services industry where he cultivated a strong background in institutional sales. He worked on Wall Street in Equity Marketing for Tucker Anthony, on an Equity Derivatives desk at Bankers Trust and as an Institutional Sales Trader with CIBC Oppenheimer. Travis holds a BA from Lafayette College and an MBA from Lehigh University’s College of Business and Economics, concentrating his studies on finance and entrepreneurial leadership.
